Helen attended the 70th annual SPOTY (Sports Personality of the Year) at Media City, Salford with Team Hewett.
Alfie Hewett was one of six athletes to be nominated for his incredibly successful 2023 season which saw him win 5 Grand Slam titles, reach the final of all four major singles draws, lift the Masters singles and doubles trophies, finish the year as World No. 1 and become ITF World Champion.
Hewett was nominated alongside cricketer Stuart Broad, jockey Frankie Detroit, footballer Mary Earps, athlete Katarina Johnson-Thompson, and golfer Rory McIlroy. In a stunning result he finished 4th, with only 1% of votes separating him from 3rd place Johnson- Thompson. Helen has worked with Alfie and Team Hewett for the past 4 years, regularly working with him at Grand Slam tournaments.
